A Short History of, "Oh no. Already?"
Alarm clocks have been around for a very long time. The first alarm clock in history - post rooster, of course - was invented on July 13, 1456 and was smashed against a wall early in the morning of July 14, 1456. Bedside alarm clocks we know and rely on today were not resurrected until the late 1800s. Alarm clocks now snap you awake with buzzers or bells - ease you into the day with music - or even reproduce the sound of a jungle clearing as your day begins. There are so many alarm clock choices.
It's Your Wake Up Call
Alarm clocks come in a wide range of styles from practical to decorative. Necessity doesn't have to be unattractive.
A variety of alert sounds. From the classic tin bell ring to radio, your favorite CD, or even a subtle environmental sound, morning wake up can come in a variety of ways. You decide how you want to wake up.
Digital display alarm clocks. Easy to read with those blurry eyes.
Analog display alarm clocks. The classic "big hand - little hand" dial.
Projection alarm clocks. The time and even the current weather projected on your ceiling. You don't even have to roll over with this alarm clock.
World time alarm clocks. You're waking up in Michigan and the grown up kid is going to bed on Okinawa. It's a daily dose of global perspective.
Atomic alarm clocks. Get their radio synchronized time direct from the U.S. Government. You'll never be even a millionth of a second late.
There's an alarm clock for every lifestyle.
