TV wall mounts work great for almost any TV, no matter if it's small, large, plasma, or black and white. One of the great things about mounts is that they work with a large range of TV sizes and types.

TV wall mounts have only become popular in the home over the last ten years or so. In and of themselves, they are not very attractive pieces of hardware, although "hip" (if the word applies here) mounts, which look similar to sleek track lighting, do exist.

Before you rush out to purchase a wall mount there are a few things you'll need to know, such as the size and weight of your TV. Since TV mounts are only designed to hold a certain number of pounds, you'll want to make sure your TV doesn't wind up as a heap on the floor.
