Mail Sorter

Mail sorters are commonly used in offices where printed information is being given to employees. A large mail shelf, which is often made out of wood or metal and contains open, cubby hole areas for flyers and envelopes, helps to distribute mail effectively. These types of sorters can include as many as 50 different square mail units.

Personal mail sorters, intended for a single person or family rather than a large group of people, come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and materials. Desktop sorters often include three flat horizontal or vertical dividers to store mail in. They can be made out of wood, wicker or metal, such as stainless steel.
