Pillow pickings
When it comes to pillows, there are basically two different types. Pillows are generally designed either for comfort while sleeping or relaxing or for purely decorative purposes. However, there is a world of different styles within these two types of pillows. There is also a huge variety of materials used in the manufacturing of pillows.
Pillow materials
It's hard to believe that pillows were once stuffed with uncomfortable straw. People soon caught on and eventually pillows were filled with softer, cozier materials such as feathers and down, which are still used quite commonly today. However, artificial materials such as foam and various other synthetic products are making new and exciting advancements in our levels of comfort.
