Blankets

Blankets are one of the most versatile accessories in your home. You can use them on your bed, on top of or below a comforter, in a reading chair, or on a couch. Although the primary purpose of a blanket is to keep one warm, they also add style and color to any room.

Blankets can be made out of many materials. Heavier blankets are often made out of wool or fleece, while lighter-weight blankets can be made out of cotton or an acrylic blend. For especially cold nights or winter days, an electric blanket, which produces additional heat through electricity, can be used.

Styles of blankets vary widely. Traditional Southwestern and Indian blankets have bright colors and patterns, while military style blankets are often solid, dark colors.
