A Glossary for Wine Racks

Collecting wine also means collecting a new vocabulary.  The following list will help the newcomer better understand wine storage racks and the fascinating world of wine.

Case:  Case Wine Racks let you conveniently store an unboxed case of wine without storing individual bottles.

Columns:  Wine racks allowing for display of wine bottles.  Partial bottle depth gives easy access to your favorite bottles.

Corner:  These wine racks form a 90 degree angle to slide into corners.

Display:  Wine racks with one or more rows that let the collector show off entire bottles of wine.

Lattice:  Wine racks with compartments arranged in each row that allow for individual storing of wine bottles.

Scallop:  Corks stay moist with these racks.  Cross bars and notches keep wine bottles angled.
