A Glossary for Wine Racks

Collecting wine also means collecting a new vocabulary.  The following list will help the newcomer better understand wine storage racks and the fascinating world of wine.

Case:  Case Wine Racks let you conveniently store an unboxed case of wine without storing individual bottles.

Columns:  Wine racks allowing for display of wine bottles.  Partial bottle depth gives easy access to your favorite bottles.

Corner:  These wine racks form a 90 degree angle to slide into corners.

Cube & Bin:  Enclosed sides allow for stacking bottles on top of each other.  Partial bottle depth makes for easy access.  Square in shape, cube storage racks have four compartments in each module.

Display:  Wine racks with one or more rows that let the collector show off entire bottles of wine.

Lattice:  Wine racks with compartments arranged in each row that allow for individual storing of wine bottles.

Scallop:  Corks stay moist with these racks.  Cross bars and notches keep wine bottles angled.

Wall Mount:  Modules that attach directly to walls, the wall mounts save space and allow air to flow between individual bottles.
