Dart Boards

A dart board is a type of bullseye that hangs on a wall and has a standard diameter of 15.5 inches. The board is separated into thin, pie-like sections, each one with a number assigned to it. There are numerous games designed for dartboards, perhaps the most popular being Cricket, 301, and 501.

A standard dart board is made of soft wood or cork. Many boards have a separate game on the flip side of the board. One common secondary game is Baseball, where the board is fashioned with a baseball diamond design.

Electronic boards are popular for business establishments and home use. These have a plastic board surface and use plastic-tipped darts to keep the board from being damaged. The main benefit of these boards is that a small internal computer keeps track of scores for the many games it is programmed with.
