Foosball

Foosball was developed in Spain during the 1930s. The game consists of a table that resembles a miniature soccer field. On a standard table, there are eleven figures (or foosmen) per team. A small ball, resembling a ping-pong ball but heavier, is dropped onto the table for play to begin. The point is to use your men to knock the ball into your opponent's goal at the end of the table.

Foosball tables can be commonly found in bars, pool halls, schools, community centers, and in home game rooms. Tables are somewhat inexpensive as compared to other table games, such as pool. There are slight differences in styles of tables that will influence the game.

Foosball is a great choice for anyone planning to outfit his or her own home game room. Take a look at the following articles for more information about foosball.
