The nuts and bolts of kicks and goals
What your foosball table is made of?
High quality foosball table parts ensure many years of competitive fun. Additional optional foosball table parts can add to the gameplay experience:
Cabinet. Generally wood or plastic, this is the largest piece of the table and includes the playing surface.
Renewing your table with new braces, corners or resurfacing will restore the playability of a well used cabinet.
Playfields. Professional tables may be covered in felt, while recreational style tables usually use adhesive stickers paint directly onto the playing surface to outline play.
Customize your playfield to make your foosball table personal.
Table Legs. Quality foosball table legs are vital to maintain a sturdy, level playing surface and may be the most important part of the entire setup. Adjustable legs are on the market to raise and lower the playing surface for foosballers of all ages and heights.
Rods. 5/8 inch is the standard width for playing rods, but 1/2 inch rods are also on the market. You don't want your rods to bend, so be sure to get hollow steel that allow for the physical slamming and torque of intense play.
High quality rods are expensive but absolutely necessary for serious play.
Bearings. Metal bearings will last longer, plastic bearings are cheaper, but don't skimp on this important foosball table part which keeps the rods spinning and the men scoring goals!
Silicon lubricant can be added to the bearings to speed things up and cut down on friction and wear on your foosball table rods.
Men. The variety of foosball "men" is endless, with some posing as basic blocks and others sharply detailed replicas of real soccer players! A highly customizable part of any table, find the perfect foozers to meet your fancy.
Handles and Handle Wraps. Wood or rubber handles are available. Choose whichever feels most comfortable to the hands. Handle wraps can add feel and grip for when you want to angle in the winning goal!
