Why Buy Electric Gate Openers?

Trials of estate ownership

Are your ranch hands weary of climbing back down from their pick-ups every time they forget to lock the gates?  Are you occasionally humbled by having to manually open the massive wrought-iron gates that bear your initials?  Do vagrants squeeze through the gap between your front gates to bathe despite it clearly being a koi pond?  Police hassling you?  Chances are, all these problems and more could be solved with a new electric gate opener.

To be fair, automatic entry gates are not only for the extravagant and wealthy keeping it real by living near bail bondsmen and check cashers.  Nowadays, gated communities and driveways are becoming the norm.  They add safety, privacy, and of course, a modicum of luxury.  While it is a simple function, buying a new or replacement electric gate opener requires some research.  Even if your gate doesn't necessarily need replacement, new innovations could make it worth looking into.

But what if you have lots of gates?

Aside from benefits derived from the latest technologies in construction and engineering, new electric gate openers have options that go beyond the familiar 'open' and 'close.'  Notably, the remote openers can be used to open several gates on your property.  Two or three button remotes are available if the gates would otherwise be opened simultaneously.  A garage door receiver transmits the proper frequencies to open the garage door with the same remote.  A person with all these gates would have previously had several remotes to juggle.

For those temporarily allowed

Weatherproof keypads have undergone some changes as well.  Before, one code would grant entry to whoever had it, now special codes can be given to delivery men, visitors, chauffeurs, and family members with spotty pasts.  Some electric gate openers have keypads that hold up to fifteen different codes, all which can be changed or erased independently.  They are good products - whether you go with diamond encrusted or simple gold plated initials is entirely your decision.
