Electrical Connectors
Terminal blocks are one type of electrical connector. These blocks, or strips, are used to connect wiring from various types of equipment and can also be used to connect individual wires. These electrical connectors are very common and one of the most flexible types of connectors available.
Plug and socket connectors are another type of electrical connector. These are usually made up of a male plug and a female socket, although universal plugs are available. This type of plug generally has a series of pins or prongs that are inserted into the mating socket.
Crimp-on terminals on another type of electrical connector and one that is good for the handy man or woman as they are extremely easy to use. These work by inserting stripped wire and then compressing, or crimping, the terminal to establish a strong connection.
