Smaller scaffolds

One of the easiest and most useful types of scaffolds is the aluminum plank scaffold. These types of scaffolding use two step ladders with a very strong-engineered aluminum plank suspended in between. *A ladder jack is made up of two extension ladders with cantilevered supports to hold the stage. This configuration can be used much higher than those manufactured for stepladder use. When using above 10-foot personal fall arrest systems should be mandatory.

Full size scaffolds

While full size scaffolds may seem prohibitively expensive it is relatively easy to find rentals in most areas. Shorter scaffolds are also much more affordable than those meant to be extended past 10 feet.
