How much do you need to spend
Small Business/Home office label printers can widely vary in price. Depending on the application, one can spend from under one hundred to several thousand dollars on the necessary equipment.
As you might expect, volume is a key consideration. If creating thousands of labels per day, you may want to consider opting for a more expensive printer. This will usually save you money in the long run for a number of reasons.
The quicker you print, the less time you or one of your employees has to waste staring at the printer.
A dedicated printer is often more durable than a multipurpose model created for occasional or low volume use.
The media for the printer is often cheaper for a dedicated model than one that will require specialty labels.
Other jobs, such as report printing, that take a great deal of time will not queue up ahead of labels on a network label printer.
