In 1993, Fujitsu was the world's first company to launch a plasma screen display line used in airports, railways and shopping centers.

Plasmavision

Fujitsu offers up their latest Plasmavision displays with a new innovation in plasma screen technology. The AVM-II digital processor adds enhancements to their already brilliant displays. This bit of technology virtually eliminates motion artifacts and flicker, improves vertical resolution, and has five distinct improvements over other manufacturers.

These improvements include reducing digital noise, smoothing out jagged edges in video, and an advanced color management system that adjusts specific hues to make them seem more natural. Other features are a picture text optimizer, which processes on screen text more efficiently, and an ambient light sensor, which adjusts the screen display based on the ambient light of the viewing room.

Displays

The Plasmavision line comes in four screen sizes, ranging from 42” to 63” and five models to choose from. All the models have a slim profile and can be mounted easily from ceiling, wall or stand. The panels themselves feature a contemporary silver design that would complement most home decors. Clever suggestions for display use include not only standard or high definition viewing, but fun displays of artwork, favorite photos, or other screen-saver type imagery.

The Fujitsu Company has been recognized in the industry with awards ranging from the Video Grand Prix Award, The Electronic House Product of the Year, Audio Video Revolution Top 100, and most recently the CEA Mark of Excellence Award.

Consumer magazines have also praised Fujitsu's Plasmavision line. Acknowledgements of high standards from such magazines include; Home Theatre Editor's Choice Award, Customer Retailer Excite Award, and the Stereophile Guide to Home Theatre Editor's Choice Platinum Award.
