Plasma TV Mounts

An exciting feature of plasma televisions is the ability to mount the screen where conventional TVs would never be able to fit. The design of most plasma screens is reminiscent of a framed work of art, contemporary and non-intrusive to a modern living space.

Flat Wall Mount

By far the most commonly used mounting system; the flat wall mount sets the screen directly against the wall adding approximately 2 inches to the depth of the display. This style of mounting produces the elegant picture frame look that make plasma screens desirable in well designed living areas and home theatres.

Tilt Wall Mount

This option allows the display to be viewed comfortably when the screen is placed higher than the desired eye level. Often used when mounting the television above a fireplace or in the bedroom, the tilt option allows the screen to be moved to the desired viewing angle.

Articulating Wall Mount

Commonly used in commercial applications, sports bars, and libraries, this option features swivel arms that allow the unit to be pulled away from the wall for maximum viewing flexibility. When not in use, the unit can be pushed back flush against the wall for the flat mount look.

Ceiling Mounts

Ceiling mounts are normally used with the tilt wall mounting systems for attractive displays in airports, check out counters, and bedroom applications. This style of mounting is versatile and attractive in its design, floating the screen for a modern appearance.

All flat screen televisions are wall mountable with the proper components, and usually must be purchased separately. To ensure proper heat dispersion, check the spec sheet of the unit and consult with industry experts when flush mounting screens inside walls.
