The scope of electronic toys continually expands. From talking figures to robotic creatures, learning components to interactive musical devices, electronic toys have become more complex and innovative.

Remote and radio controlled devices challenge children to successfully manipulate the figures around and over obstacles, competing against the clock or each other. Robotic creatures are programmable and perform a range of functions including ambulating and picking up objects.

Talking toys replay memorable or humorous programmed phrases and may have recording options for personalization. Musical toys may be programmable for different play modes and record compositions for playback.

Learning toys provide interactive basic skills practice including math, spelling, sequencing and sorting.

Keep kids safe. Electronic devices usually contain batteries that could be a choking hazard. Secure battery compartments during use. Look for electronic products with childproof battery compartments. Check to ensure light bulb access is childproof.
