It may be that you live in an apartment, don't have the time to devote to grilling, or are cooking for just one or two people. Whatever the situation, an indoor grill is an excellent option for grilling.
Highly portable, indoor grills offer a healthy way to cook anything from a panini to vegetables to steak. The ridges on indoor grills keep meat from sitting it its own grease, thus allowing for healthier cooking.
Smaller, less expensive indoor grills offer space for one serving and have very limited heating controls. Mid-range indoor grills provide more surface area for cooking, but generally have the same limited control of heating. On the more expensive and much larger indoor grills you will find multiple options for controlling heat to specific areas of the grill.
