Kettle

Kettles can be found around the globe. There are traditional tea kettles and electric kettles, but all are used primarily to boil water quickly. Kettles have become a fashion item in the kitchen. Contemporary stainless steel kettles made of high quality materials fit right next to cheerful kettles shaped like a rooster.

A kettle's lid should be tight fitting to ensure a quicker boil. The handle should either have a protective wrapping or a handle specially designed to keep it cool.

Kettles can be coated in baked enamel or made of stainless steel or aluminum. Kettles coated in baked enamel come in a full range of colors. Stainless steel and aluminum kettles are more modern looking.

The whistle of a kettle can even tell how nice the kettle is. It seems the more expensive the kettle, the more melodic the whistle.
