Cat themed dishtowels are extremely popular and a great way to add the purr-fect accent to your kitchen. You can find realistic portraits of cats printed on dish towels, or wild and crazy cats in every color of the rainbow. Some dish towels feature cats chasing yarn, and some dish towels feature cats riding bicycles and carrying baguettes. You can even get a picture of your own cat printed on a dish towel.

Holiday themed dish towels

As mentioned above, dish towels are now available in almost every holiday theme imaginable. A holiday themed dish towel is a great way to subtly add holiday decor to your kitchen. Just think of how festive a candy cane striped dishtowel would look on Christmas morning, or of how a spooky ghost dish towel could spice up your kitchen on Halloween. Holiday dish towels can be stored from year to year, and become a part of your family's decorating tradition.

Seasonal dish towels

Along the same lines of a holiday dish towel is a seasonal dish towel. Seasonal dish towels can range from fall leaves to spring flowers, and provide a cheery kitchen accent to the changing seasons. Much like holiday dish towels, seasonal dish towels can be rotated throughout the year to provide kitchen variety and decorating tradition.

Flour sack dish towels

A flour sack dish towel is so named because it is made from the same fabric as old-fashioned flour sacks. Generally these dish towels are white, and larger than the fuzzier themed dish towels. They are excellent for drying dishes because they don't leave any fuzz behind on your plates and glasses. Some flour sack dish towels can have patterns printed on them, such as fruits or state maps.

Dish towel holders

Dish towel holders come in many varieties, from bars, to adhesive hooks, to strings. You can always also throw your dish towel through the handle of your fridge, or through the handle of a cupboard door. You will probably want a proper holder for seasonal or themed dish towels; however, since half the point of these dish towels is to display them!
