Electric skillet

The electric skillet is another kitchen appliance used to save time and provide convenience. It can be used anywhere an outlet is provided and is easily cleaned. Electric skillets are ideal for use where standard stovetops are either not available or not recommended.

Typically, electric skillets have a medium- to large-sized cooking surface and feature a non-stick surface. Some skillets are enclosed with a lip, like a standard saucepan, while others are flat and used for cooking foods such as pancakes or multiple foods at once. A thermostat provides power to the unit and controls the temperature of the cooking surface. Electric skillets are perfect for quick meals or as an extra cooking surface for larger meals. They do take up additional kitchen space but are easily cleaned with paper towels and mild soap and water.
