Paintings

Paintings come in all sizes, so you're certain to find a painting to match both your decor and your space. Oversized paintings are great for both larger and smaller rooms. For larger walls, oversized paintings can cover a lot of bare territory. On smaller walls, oversized paintings can create the illusion of largeness.

The great thing about paintings is that they can go in any room in the house. Quaint prairie home or fruit paintings are perfect for kitchen spaces, while seascape and landscape paintings go great in bathrooms. In addition, paintings don't even have to go in rooms! Hang paintings in your hallway to offset the drabness.

If you’re into art or art history, the logical choice is to pick a painting or reproduction from one of your favorite artists. If you are much less versed on the subject then look at your current design to decide whether a more classical or contemporary painting would be a better fit.
