Votive candles are smaller in size than pillar candles, but are not as small as tealight candles.  Votive candles, due to their size, burn out more quickly than larger candles.  But that just means that you'll be able to try a variety of scents at a quicker pace!  Place votive candles in glass or metal holders around your home or backyard.  Try burning multiple candles at once.

Aromatherapy candles were created as a therapeutic device for your mind and body.  These fragrant candles use essential oils extracted from flowers, herbs, fruits, and other plants.  The powerful scent of orange, for example, is said to be invigorating and renewing, while a scent such as lavender should have a calming effect.
