Why Buy a Side Table

Side tables have increased in popularity over the years, due to their functionality and versatility.

Side tables are both functional and decorative.  You can put things on your table, such as lamps, but you can also let unique, decorative tables stand alone.   

Side tables can put the finishing touch on a room.  Say, for example, you have an open, blank side wall.  What would fit more perfectly there than a side table?    

Side tables add character without overpowering other decor.  Remember, side tables are small!  You can fit them in spaces that would be too tiny for other, larger pieces of furniture.        

Some side tables can double as storage.  If you purchase a table that has a sliding drawer or a small cabinet beneath it, you can store magazines, nicknacks, or other smaller items.

Rearranging your furniture again?  Side tables are one of the few pieces of furniture that can be moved from room to room.  Don't need one in your kitchen anymore?  Move it to the bedroom and use beside a sitting chair. 

Side tables work well on porches and patios.  Buy one that matches other lawn furniture.

Have small children that want to have a tea party?  Purchase a side table for kids to play with; it's the perfect height for them.
