When the snow starts to fall, nobody likes the back-breaking job of shoveling snow off of the driveway. Snow blowers make snow removal a snap.
Snow blowers come in many sizes. Small units are capable of throwing light snow, while larger units can remove wide swaths up to 6 feet deep. Snow blowers are divided into two classes: single and two-stage.
Single stage snow blowers use a single high-speed paddle to force snow into the discharge chute. Two stage blowers use a low rpm auger to break up the snow and a high speed impeller to push the snow out. Two stage models are much more efficient, but may be too much for an average residential drive.
Snow blowers are the pinnacle of convenient technology, making a typically hard job easier. Learn more about snow blowers by reading the articles below.
