Indoor Plant Hanger Tips
Even if inside, foliage grown in plant hangers will dry out much more quickly than in pots on the ground. Indoor plant hangers receive air circulation as the air moves around the pot constantly. Self-watering plant hangers, which allow the plant to feed at its own rate, can be used or simple due diligence in monitoring the moisture of the plant is also effective.
Be sure to hang your plant where it will receive an ample amount of sunlight. If your home doesn't receive a great deal of direct sunlight, select plants that grow in shade.
Take your indoor plant hanger down from time to time to remove dead leaves and other debris. Your plants may also need to be cleaned or sprayed for insects occasionally.
Indoor plants should be misted daily but use less water to water them when the days are short and the temperature drops.
Place the indoor plant hangers a few inches back from the window so the temperature will remain constant.
